What is the RIMOWA Replacement Service?

RIMOWA offers a complimentary replacement service for new suitcases purchased in official RIMOWA stores in Germany or via the official RIMOWA online store in Germany starting March 18th, 2025. In the event of loss during transportation by public transport or theft during your trip, you may receive a replacement for your RIMOWA suitcase if you submit your request within five (5) days of becoming aware of it. Please refer to the service's terms and conditions for details on the timeframes and required supporting documents.

Which products are eligible for the RIMOWA Replacement Service?
The RIMOWA Replacement Service is offered exclusively for new suitcases purchased on or after March 18th, 2025 in Germany, either in an official RIMOWA store or on the official RIMOWA online store. This service is not available for suitcases purchased through the RIMOWA Re-crafted program, purchased second-hand, or any suitcase purchased before March 18th, 2025.
How does the RIMOWA Replacement Service work?

You can apply for a replacement suitcase as part of the RIMOWA Replacement Service within five (5) days of noticing that your suitcase has been lost during transportation by public transport or stolen during a trip. The RIMOWA Replacement Service is limited to two (2) years from the date of purchase. Please refer to the service's terms and conditions for details on the timeframes and required supporting documents.

To start your request, please go to the GRACE platform by clicking here. You can also click on the link within the e-mail confirming the shipment of your RIMOWA suitcase, and follow the instructions to sign into your GRACE account. You must use the e-mail address provided at the time of purchase. After registering with GRACE, click on the suitcase displayed there to start your application.

Where can I receive my suitcase replacement?
You may receive your replacement suitcase in every official RIMOWA store of your choice worldwide, subject to availability.
Does RIMOWA also replace the lost or stolen content of my suitcase?
RIMOWA may replace your suitcase but will not replace the contents of your lost or stolen suitcase.
What if the suitcase I purchased is intended as a gift?

If you purchased a suitcase intended as a gift, its ownership can be transferred on the GRACE platform.

To request a transfer, please go to the GRACE platform by clicking here. You can also click on the link within the e-mail confirming the shipment of your RIMOWA suitcase, and follow the instructions to sign into your GRACE account.

You must use the e-mail address provided at the time of purchase.

After registering with GRACE, click on the suitcase displayed there to start the transfer of ownership request.

What is the GRACE platform?

GRACE provides a global service for luxury goods and brands. They operate the Replacement Service on behalf of RIMOWA. Their dedicated user platform allows you to manage your replacement request in a simple and efficient manner.
