Ownership Certificate

Where is the NFC reader on my phone?

For newer smartphones, you may need to tilt your phone towards the reader so the top part of the phone is facing the reader. Similar to how you would point a remote to a TV, point your phone straight at the reader. For older smartphones, the NFC sensor is generally on the back of the phone, either in the center, lower or upper portions. It may take a bit of experimenting to see which angle works best for your phone.

If you use your phone for payments, the same angle you use to pay should work for reading the NFC tag.

What happens if my phone is stolen and my RIMOWA Ownership Certificate is registered in it?

Please contact the RIMOWA customer service in the event of a lost or stolen phone. We will assist you in the process of reclaiming your RIMOWA Ownership Certificate.

Accessories

Can I charge my iPhone wireless while using the RIMOWA aluminium iPhone case?

No, unfortunately our aluminum iPhone cases do not currently support wireless charging. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we are pleased to inform that our Polycarbonates Cases support this function.

Can I use contactless payment while using the RIMOWA aluminium iPhone case?

Yes, contactless payment does work while using all our iPhone cases.

Exchanges & Returns

Can I return an online order to a RIMOWA store?

Currently, you are unable to return merchandise purchased online at one of our RIMOWA stores. To return your order, please contact our Client Care Team by phone 800 0491 0248 or email contact_AE@rimowa.com.

Serial Number

Do all RIMOWA Items have a serial number?

A serial number is present on all our suitcases as well as on specialties, Personal collections, and aluminium iPhone cases.

Payment

What Payment Methods do you accept?

RIMOWA accepts the following forms of payment: MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Apple Pay and Cash on Delivery.

Please note that the maximum order value for cash on delivery payment would be 500 AED. You will receive a payment link on your phone if the value of the order is over 500 AED when you opt for Cash on Delivery.

In-store appointments

Can I book an in-store appointment on the website with a Client Advisor or a RIMOWA repair expert?

Yes. You can book an in-store appointment by clicking on the “BOOK AN APPOINTMENT” button available under the “In-Store Appointments” section on the “Services" menu or in the footer, or by going to the Store detail pages in the store locator and clicking on "BOOK AN APPOINTMENT" for the store of your choice.

To request an appointment, you will need to select a store and a service offered by that store. You can then choose the date and time for your appointment.

To confirm your appointment request, you must fill out a form with your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. You can also add a comment in the "Comments" field to better specify your needs so the sales advisor can assist you (e.g., I want to explore the new suitcase collection).

Shipping & Delivery

Can I purchase online and pick-up my order in store?

Yes, RIMOWA offers the option to pick up your order in-store. During checkout, select "Pickup" and choose your preferred store.

You will receive an e-mail when your order is ready for pick up. To collect your order, bring:

Your ID or driver's license
The shipping confirmation email (printed or on your phone)

If someone else is picking up the order on your behalf, please follow these steps:

Enter their contact details during checkout
The person must bring a valid ID

Your order will be available for pick up for 10 days from the date and time of confirmation. If not collected, your order will be canceled, and you will be refunded.

Please note that the return policy for Click & Collect orders requires returns to be processed at the store where the item was collected using the same credit card for payment.
